This October, he will join Auckland Philharmonia to perform a selection of music from his back catalogue specially reimagined for live orchestra, including his breakthrough 2008 hit ‘Always on My Mind’.
In Tiki Taane with Auckland Phil, Tiki and his special guests — drum and bass artist Tali, rapper Big Sima, as well as Tiki's son Charlie and daughter Karcia — join the full symphonic force of Auckland Philharmonia.
Tiki recently performed with Auckland Phil at Synthony in Auckland’s Domain, and this is a chance to catch his electrifying talent and energy in an original collaborative experience at the iconic Auckland Town Hall.
This is a thrilling and long-overdue reboot of Taane’s original 2021 sold out live show with Christchurch Symphony Orchestra (CSO), which was also recorded as a live album and made into a multi award-winning full-length documentary Tiki Taane in Session with CSO.

Auckland Town Hall is opposite Aotea Square on Queen Street. This is along a main bus route and takes about 17-20 minutes to walk from Waitematā Station and the ferry terminal. There is parking available at the Civic carpark which brings you right to the back entrance of the venue.
