Meet two larger-than-life wildlife enthusiasts who will be romping through our natural sciences galleries from 10AM - 12PM and 1PM - 3PM daily. Inspired by the spirit of nature documentaries, these "Attenborough-in-training" characters will share fascinating, funny, and sometimes surprising stories about the animals on display.
Along the way, kids will be encouraged to capture their favourite creatures, taking inspiration from the stunning imagery in the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition (BYO camera!).
Drop in with your whānau to take a closer look at our wildlife on display, and discover how we can all care for the natural world and the incredible life within it.
