To celebrate the amazing year of comedy we've had in beautiful Aotearoa, we’ve got a special gift for you: an advent calendar packed with some of the country’s funniest and brightest talent. 

Inside you’ll find the master of deadpan comedy, 2017 Billy T nominee Ray O’Leary, the absolute powerhouse 2024 NZICF Best Newcomer winner Courtney Dawson, a favourite from your telly screens, 2021 Billy T nominee James Mustapic. We simply had to bring up Wellington’s dazzling 2025 NZICF Best Newcomer nominee Lily Catastrophe, and after his stellar 2025 Gala debut, Henry Yan couldn’t be missed! Sprinkle in the sassy, stylish 2023 Billy T nominee Janaye Henry, sounds like a party (and who knows, if you've been nice, there might be a few more surprises!)

It’s not just about the laughs though, this festive Best Comedy Show On Earth special is a fundraiser, with all proceeds from the show going to support the New Zealand Comedy Trust. Each ticket purchased helps support the artist development work the Trust does alongside the NZ International Comedy Festival, to create career pathways for NZ comedians.
