Great Barrier Golf Club is a fun yet challenging 9-hole course, enjoyable for family groups and beginners, through to advanced players.
The course has been developed and maintained with volunteer labour since its inception in 1984. Cut through stunning New Zealand bush, it is a wonderful and natural environment with sweeping views up to the mountain ranges.
The course is constantly being improved with native plantings that encourage more bird life. The club room itself is completely off grid and runs mostly on solar. Course development is done in a truly sustainable way.
Club days are Thursdays and Sundays, when the clubhouse is open and drinks and light snacks are available. Come along and enjoy the unique hospitality.
