I've been here 4 times and I feel this place just has good vibes. The food is good, you'll find a few dishes you would be very familiar with, if you have been to other Japanese restaurants, and some others that might be a bit of a hit and miss. But that is OK, as you can try it once, and then move on to something else more suited to your taste buds! They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are great. There are dishes for a shared experience, or you can get something just for yourself. In my humble opinion, try it once, with a 3-4 friends, order as much as you can from the menu to share and have a few drinks to go with it. Overall, been happy with my experience here.
Great service, server came to the table and pours the green tea for you and tops it up as your stay continues. A must try this hidden gem in the snickle lane
Came for a late dinner weeknight, it wasn’t particularly busy and think they’re winding down for the night. It still had a friendly & cozy vibe. The ocean bowl was a mixture of various sashimi and salad pieces on rice. Some of the sashimi pieces were bit scrappy, but it did still taste good overall. The only real disappointment was that they ran out of the apple pie 🥧.
