Matakana Estate is the largest winery in the region, spanning 35 hectares of land, we produce boutique-style wines and provide luxury lodge accommodation as well as venue spaces for special events.

We are proud to be a part of this wine region right on Auckland’s doorstep. Our cellar door is open 6 days a week; Wednesday to Monday for wine tastings and gourmet platters, guided by our passionate staff. A highly recommended offering would be our wine blending experience, here is the ultimate wine experience, where you get to create your own wine.

Our luxury lodge is situated on our property overlooking the vineyards and offers uninterrupted views of the countryside. Available for exclusive hire only for the ultimate getaway and escape.
