The future of Oceania basketball is coming to Tāmaki Makaurau this November as the 2026 FIBA U15 Oceania Cup takes over Eventfinda Stadium. For six days, the region's best emerging young basketball talent will go head-to-head in a showcase of skill, passion and national pride, all with the dream of being crowned Oceania champions and securing a place at the 2027 FIBA U16 Asia Cup.
Hosted by Basketball New Zealand and supported by Auckland Council Events, the tournament marks the first time in more than a decade that New Zealand has hosted a FIBA Oceania Cup competition. Fans will have the chance to watch the next generation of international basketball stars represent countries from across Oceania and the Pacific in a week of high-energy competition.
Best of all, entry is completely free. Gather your friends, bring your whānau and experience international basketball on Auckland's North Shore as the region's brightest young athletes compete for glory on the road to the world stage.
Free entry all week. Finals take place on Saturday 5 December.

For its big-ticket gigs and fights, there may be pre-book car parks and shuttle options available at the time of ticket purchase. Book in advance to avoid the queues.
Getting there

It takes 15-25 minutes by car to get from the city centre to Eventfinda Stadium. Several direct bus routes operate between The Civic and bus stations within walking distance of the stadium.
