Get ready for a massive night of racing action! Alongside the legendary Demolition Derby, we’re lighting up the sky with a spectacular fireworks show. The Auckland Saloon Champs, Streetstocks, and our rising stars in the Ministocks will also hit the track for an unforgettable evening at Waikaraka Speedway — where the thrills never stop!
Hot Chips, Hot Dogs, Burgers, Coffee, Hot Chocolate and much more are available to purchase on-site.

Children 7 years and under are free - no ticket is required!
A Gold Card Concession or Student Pass (up to age 20) ticket is available for purchase but note - ONLY at the gates on the event day (ID required).
Main Gate Opens at 3.30pm – Racing starts 6.00pm

Arrive early to secure good seating and grab food before racing starts. Bring warm layers, evenings at the track can get chilly once the sun goes down.
Getting there

Located in Onehunga at Waikaraka Park, around 15 minutes’ drive from Auckland CBD. Free on-site parking is usually available on event nights. Public transport options include train services to Onehunga Station, followed by a short taxi or rideshare trip.
