About GALS – Auckland's Rainbow Choir
GALS was established as the first LGBTQ+ choir in New Zealand over 30 years ago and has been going strong ever since! GALS holds concerts twice a year or more, as well as participating in various pride events at home in Tāmaki Makaurau.
GALS is a member of the New Zealand Choral Federation, and has participated in choral events and festivals such as Singfest and Out and Loud. GALS has also proudly performed in global festivals, including in Dublin and Bologna.

Arrive early and explore the wider Aotea Arts Quarter. The square is surrounded by theatres, galleries, cafés and restaurants, making it easy to pair an event with a meal or another city-centre experience.

Aotea Square is in the heart of the city centre on Queen Street. Te Waihorotiu Station is around a 2-minute walk away, while Waitematā Station is around a 15-minute walk down Queen Street.
