This concert presents a unique musical dialogue through the joint performance of well-known Chinese, Maori, and Western masterpieces by musicians from China and New Zealand. Featuring a symphony orchestra, traditional Chinese music instruments, and vocal performances.
Programme Highlights: Western & Chinese Symphonic Masterpieces. “Butterfly Lovers”, “Ode to the Yellow River”, “My Motherland and I” and other Chinese Classics; Famous Opera Excerpts by Verdi, Mozart, Puccini, Rossini & Bizet; Special Māori Song Performances.
50% of the ticket revenue from this event will be donated to the Starship Foundation to support Starship Children’s Hospital.

Auckland Town Hall is opposite Aotea Square on Queen Street. This is along a main bus route and takes about 17-20 minutes to walk from Waitematā Station and the ferry terminal. There is parking available at the Civic carpark which brings you right to the back entrance of the venue.
