King Kapisi "Here We Go Again" Tour

After an unforgettable summer appearance sharing the stage with Che Fu, The Krates and The Peacekeepers, we can’t wait to welcome him back to Matakana for another massive night of Aotearoa bass culture, hip hop and live energy.

A pioneering force in New Zealand music, King Kapisi became the first hip hop artist in Aotearoa to receive the prestigious APRA Silver Scroll Award, taking out Songwriter of the Year for Reverse Resistance. In 2022, he was appointed a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to music and the community.

A powerful vocalist fusing hip hop, reggae, jungle, drum & bass and Pacific energy, Kapisi’s live shows hit hard, equal parts sound system session, celebration and cultural statement. Expect brand new music, unreleased tracks and serious low-end pressure as the nationwide tour rolls through The Stables.
