Lilyworld

The only venue of its kind in the area, Lilyworld boasts a garden bar, private function space and cafe. Situated in Go Media Stadium, Lilyworld hosts live entertainment weekly along with sports on the big screen, happy hour and even a Mini Putt course. The newly built Jameson Sound Shell adds to the atmosphere, serving as a standout stage for DJs, live bands and performers.

Full Time Sports Bar

Redefining Auckland’s sporting experience is the name of the game at the Full Time Sports Bar & Eatery in central Kingsland. The official home of the NZ Warriors, the Full Time Sports Bar is a short walk from the Kingsland train station, and always-on when it comes to sports.

Schapiros Sports Bar

If you’re after a local venue that does mouthwatering burgers and wings to eat while watching sports, then Schapiro’s is the sport for you. Located at the top of Symonds Street, Schapiro’s has a dedicated sports schedule to keep you apprised of what will be on the screens at any given time! Their website has specific feature matches that you can reserve tables for to ensure you’ve got a prime position to watch the NBA, Rugby Union or Rugby League! 

John Barleycorn’s Taphouse

Picture this - it’s Saturday night, kick off is in a few minutes, and you’ve got $40 all-you-can-eat Ribs being served in front of you. With carefully crafted tap beers, refreshing drinks and hearty meals, John Barleycorns’ Taphouse, situated on the rooftop of Westfield Newmarket, is an iconic venue for watching sports.

A historic pub and Ponsonby institution, The Cav has a contemporary new lease on life as a chic gastrobar.
