Add Rangitoto to your must-do list! As you climb up the mountain, you'll get to see stunning lava fields and the world's largest pōhutukawa forest, and once you reach the top, you'll be rewarded with jaw-dropping views of Tāmaki Makaurau and the Hauraki Gulf.
Explore Shakespear Regional Park’s native bush, beaches, birdlife, and amazing views of the Hauraki Gulf, including Rangitoto Island and Tiritiri Matangi Island. The track takes just under two hours, so there’s plenty of time for a picnic or a swim afterwards.
