ATEED and its Screen Auckland team is developing a world-class skills and development programme in close association with key screen sector partners, guilds and the New Zealand Film Commission.

However, it does not directly connect job seekers with screen companies for employment.

If you are looking for work in the screen industry, ATEED suggests you monitor film industry services in New Zealand and apply for jobs directly with New Zealand-based production companies (you'll find them in The Databook below or via Google) or via the following industry services.

Film industry services:
•    Crewlist
•    Filmcrews
•    The Databook
•    Crew Auckland
•    Crew Wellington
•    Showtools

Casting/extras work inquiries:
•    AAANZ: Actors Agency Association New Zealand

You will also find a wide range of film community groups on Facebook, where job opportunities may be posted. These groups are often specific to a region, so search for groups where you plan to base yourself.
•    New Zealand Filmmakers
•    New Zealand Film Industry Forum
•    NZ Film-makers Collective
•    Film Community NZ
•    New Zealand Film and Video Group
•    NZ Theatre and Film scene
•    Film Production Group NZ

Plus, you can always monitor these more general sites for jobs:
•    Seek film/television jobs
•    Trademe jobs
•    careers.govt.nz/arts-and-media

The Screen Auckland and NZ Film newsletters provide updates on the local film industry, events, job opportunities, and filmmakers and films being funded. Subscribe  by following the links below:
•    Screen Auckland newsletters
•    NZ Film newsletter

The film guilds of New Zealand run workshops and generally help filmmakers find their way in the industry. You can check them out here:

Good luck with your job hunt!
